Product Description

Overview

The KUPO CHP-1 Mini Motor Pickle is a low-voltage-control handheld for close-range chain motor operation during build and load-in. It uses a thumb rocker for up/off/down control, dead-man release-to-stop behavior, rear status LEDs, and an integrated carabiner / belt clip so the controller stays on the rigger's belt or harness.

Why It Matters

CHP-1 is the North American turn-lock version, useful when the LV °C motor stock is built around NEMA L14-20 connectors. It gives the same dead-man pickle behavior as the CEE versions but with the connector convention expected on that rig.

Key Features

  • NEMA L14-20, 4-pin, 20 A turn-lock connector matches the intended LV °C motor control standard.
  • Rocker switch gives thumb-operated up/off/down control while chain is fed by hand.
  • Release-to-stop dead-man behavior stops motion as soon as the operator lets go.
  • Red, green, and yellow LEDs show power connected, up direction, and down direction status.
  • Integrated carabiner / belt clip keeps the pickle within reach during rigging work.

Applications

Use during chain motor setup, chain feeding, load-in, trim checks, and close-range LV °C motor operation where a full controller is too far away or too slow for small adjustments.

Compatibility

Compatible with low-voltage-control chain motors using the NEMA L14-20 4-pin turn-lock control connector.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use a mini motor pickle instead of the main controller

It gives the crew member at the motor a close-range control point for feeding chain and making small setup movements during load-in.

Does the motor keep running if I release the switch

No. The rocker uses release-to-stop dead-man behavior, so motion stops when the operator lets go.

Which connector version should I choose

Choose CHP-1 for North American NEMA L14-20 4-pin turn-lock LV °C systems.
