Overview

The KUPO CB-12 is a RIGPRO chain bag sized for 15 m of 7.1 mm load chain, keeping excess hoist chain contained above the work area instead of hanging loose from the hoist body. Its rectangular metal upper frame, 1000 denier black woven fabric, reinforced bottom, and included hoist attachment hardware make it a practical safety accessory for professional overhead lifting setups.

Why It Matters

CB-12 is the compact choice when the chain run is short and the crew does not want a long bag hanging below the hoist. It contains the spare chain cleanly while helping avoid oversized bag clearance problems around the hook block.

Key Features

• 12 x 25 cm metal upper frame keeps the bag opening shaped and easy to attach near the hoist body.
• 30 cm, 12" bag height provides capacity for 15 m of 7.1 mm load chain while respecting the 75 % bag-space guideline.
• 8 mm acrylic bottom plate and three 3.5 cm polyester bottom straps distribute chain weight across the bag base.
• Two lower drain holes help prevent rainwater buildup when the bag is used in outdoor or weather-exposed rigs.

Additional Technical Notes

• Bottom Straps: 3 x 3.5 cm wide polyester straps, crisscross pattern
• Included Hardware: 2 eyehooks WLL 750 lb and 2 quick-link carabiners WLL 2,200 lb
• Safety Note: Hook block or load must not contact bag during operation

Applications

Use for entertainment chain hoists in theatres, arenas, touring rigs, broadcast studios, festivals, corporate events, and any overhead setup where free chain must be contained safely.
