Product Description
Overview
The KUPO CHC-14RLV °C-US is a 4-channel low-voltage control power console for entertainment chain hoists. It combines three-phase hoist power distribution with low-voltage control, using a compact 2.5 mm aluminum alloy metal chassis, NEMA turn-lock connectors, a remote handset workflow, and safety self-detection through the emergency stop circuit.
Why It Matters
Low-voltage controlled hoists need both power distribution and a control path that stays manageable at the operator position. This console keeps the GO button and channel selection on the remote handset, reducing panel clutter while still giving the power station phase reverse, LED status, contactor enable, leakage protection, and overload protection.
Key Features
- 4 channels of three-phase hoist power distribution and low-voltage control suit compact LV °C motor systems.
- NEMA L16-30 mains inlet plus NEMA L16-20 power and NEMA L14-20 control outlets match the US connector format.
- 30 mA leakage circuit breaker and maximum 40 A overload breaker provide key protection points.
- emergency stop self-detecting function responds to phase missing, incorrect phase sequence, handset disconnection, or added handset connection.
Additional Technical Notes
- Protection: 30 mA leakage circuit breaker and max 40 A overload breaker
Applications
Use for entertainment rigging, touring motor control, theatre hoist operation, corporate event truss moves, broadcast stages, and venue installations where controlled hoist movement is required.
Compatibility
Use with compatible low-voltage controlled chain hoists and the matching remote handset connected by 7-pin XLR.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the GO button on the power console
No. The specification notes the GO button and channel selection toggles are built on the remote handset to keep the power console slim.
What happens if the remote handset is disconnected
The emergency stop circuit self-detecting function triggers and suspends operation until the reset button on the remote handset is pressed.
Can it be mounted on truss
The specification lists two M10 threaded holes on the back of the chassis for clamp attachment to truss.
