Product Description

Overview

The DS-TM3 is the XLR 3-pin member of KUPO's DIGI-SIT DMX terminator family. It plugs into the last fixture in a DMX512 run to reduce signal reflections, stabilize transmission, and give the technician an LED indication that DMX data is present on the line.

Why It Matters

A DMX line often behaves until the room is full and the cue has to run. A proper terminator at the last fixture is one of the cheapest ways to prevent flicker, data reflections, and unstable fixture response, especially in longer 3-pin cable runs.

Key Features

  • XLR 3-pin format matches 3-pin DMX512 cable runs.
  • Terminates the DMX line at the last fixture to reduce signal reflections.
  • LED indicator confirms DMX data presence on the line.
  • Integrated protective circuitry supports reliable field use.

Applications

Used at the end of DMX512 fixture chains in theatres, clubs, touring rigs, studios, houses of worship, rental packages, and installed lighting systems.

Compatibility

Part of the DIGI-SIT terminator family with DS-TM3, DS-TM4, and DS-TM5. Companion DIGI-CHECK testers include DC-920 and DC-930.
