Product Description
Overview
The KUPO KCP-415 is an off-set mounting plate with a 16 mm baby receiver for attaching Kino Flo 2 ft and 4 ft fixtures to a standard 16 mm spigot. Its offset geometry is designed to balance fixture weight over the center of the stand.
Why It Matters
Fluorescent tube fixtures can become awkward when the receiver point does not sit under the center of mass. KCP-415 moves the mounting relationship back over the stand, then uses a welded steel ball head and 360° ball joint to keep aiming flexible.
Key Features
- 16 mm baby receiver mounts Kino Flo 2 ft and 4 ft fixtures to a standard 16 mm spigot
- Offset adapter helps balance fixture weight over the center of the stand
- Steel ball head is welded to the offset adapter for strength
- 360° ball joint and ratchet handle support flexible aiming with limited handle clearance
Applications
Use it when a Kino Flo fixture or compatible tube-light plate needs to sit correctly on a 16 mm spigot while keeping the weight centered over the stand.
Compatibility
KCP-415 is shown as a companion for KCP-402 and KCP-404 mounting plates, but it is not included with those plates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does KCP-415 come with KCP-402 or KCP-404?
No. The specification notes that KCP-415 is not included with those mounting plates.
Why is the plate offset?
The offset helps bring the fixture weight back over the center of the stand, which makes the mounted fixture easier to manage.
Can it be angled after mounting?
Yes. The welded steel ball head provides 360° ball-joint adjustment, tightened by a ratchet-style handle.
