Product Description

Overview

The KD-816B Square Clip is an aluminum spring clamp for mounting posters, foamcore, signage, and other thin display panels through the Super Convi Clamp system. Its 5.3 cm by 9 cm jaw holds the panel, while the 5/8" (16 mm) hex stud at the base drops into a KCP-700 or KCP-710 receiver.

Why It Matters

Temporary signs often get taped, leaned, or improvised until they fail at the worst time. This clip gives the same job a proper clamp path, which is cleaner for events and easier to reset in a studio.

Key Features

  • Spring-tension jaw holds thin rigid or semi-rigid panels without a separate tool step.
  • 5/8" (16 mm) hex stud connects directly into a Super Convi Clamp receiver.
  • 5.3 cm by 9 cm jaw size gives useful contact area for foamcore, signage, and poster boards.

Applications

A practical choice for event entry signs, trade-show graphics, quick studio labels, foamcore posters, retail messaging, and temporary directional signage mounted from stands or Kupoles.

Compatibility

Designed for KCP-700 and KCP-710 Super Convi Clamps and thin display panels such as foamcore or rigid signage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it hold foamcore signs?

Yes. Foamcore posters and similar thin rigid display panels are exactly the kind of material this clip is meant to hold.

Does it need tools to mount a sign?

The jaw is spring-tensioned, so the sign clips in quickly. The base still needs to be seated properly in a compatible Super Convi Clamp.

Why use this instead of tape?

The clip is cleaner, reusable, and easier to reposition, especially for trade shows, studios, and temporary event signage.
