Part of KUPO's complete CEE form connector range spanning 16 A to 125 A and 110 V to 400 V, the KHTN0451 is a 125 A plug (inline male) designed for 380-415 V 5-pole (3P+N+E) circuits. Like every connector in the range, it features a flame-retardant PA6 (Polyamide 6) Nylon housing, nickel-plated brass contacts, and IP67 (Ingress Protection 67) watertight protection. The keyed earth contact at the 6-hour clock position and earth-first/earth-last engagement sequence comply with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 60309-1 and 60309-2 standards, ensuring safe interoperability with any compliant CEE connector.

Compatibility

The KUPO KHTN0451 is manufactured to IEC 60309-1 and IEC 60309-2 standards, ensuring dimensional compatibility with CEE form connectors from all compliant manufacturers. The 6-hour clock position earth contact permits mating only with connectors of the same 380-415 V voltage class, preventing cross-connections between incompatible electrical systems.

Voltage Color Convention

CEE form connectors use internationally standardized housing colors to indicate voltage class: Yellow for 110-130 V, Blue for 200-250 V, Red for 380-480 V, and Black for 500-690 V. The keyed clock position of the earth contact prevents cross-mating between different voltage systems, ensuring only compatible connectors can be joined. Always verify voltage and frequency compatibility with local electrical supply before installation.
