KL-40FPCBK is the black Santoprene TPV protective cap for a KUPO K-LOK 400 A inline female connector. The cap covers the disconnected interface and stays with the cable through a 297.5 mm lanyard assembly. It keeps the parked connector discreet beside black feeder cable, while the connector-specific fit supports NEMA 3R protection when correctly seated.

Why It Matters

A 400 A feeder connector is often moved across trucks, cable ramps, outdoor staging areas and distribution points before it is mated. Keeping the female interface covered reduces direct exposure to rain, dust and handling debris. The black body also carries the cable-identification scheme to the connector end, where crews need it during load-in and strike.
