Overview

KL-40MPCR is the red Santoprene TPV protective cap for a KUPO K-LOK 400 A inline male connector. It covers the exposed connector interface while the cable is disconnected and remains attached through a 299 mm lanyard assembly. The red body is easy to recognize when red-coded feeder sets are staged together, while the dedicated fit supports NEMA 3R protection when correctly seated.

Why It Matters

The male end of a 400 A feeder remains exposed whenever a run is broken down, staged or moved between distribution points. A connector-specific cap helps keep rain, dust and handling debris away from that interface without becoming a loose accessory. The red finish also carries the cable-identification plan to the point crews handle first.
