Product Description

Overview

The KPC-116 Pipe Clamp Corner is a bolt-on malleable iron fitting for 48.3 mm OD, 1-1/2" Sch. 40 pipe. It joins three pipes at one intersection for box frames, railings, and structural corners, using internal or stainless steel hex screws to lock the pipe without welding so the structure can be assembled, adjusted, and serviced on site.

Why It Matters

A three-pipe corner defines the shape of the whole frame. This fitting keeps the corner organized while allowing the structure to stay bolt-on and serviceable.

Key Features

  • Three-pipe corner geometry creates a compact intersection for box frames and railings.
  • ASTM A197 casting gives the fitting a durable body for modular tubular structures.
  • Hot dip galvanized surface treatment supports corrosion resistance for indoor and outdoor service.
  • No-weld installation lets crews revise frames, rails, and display structures without cutting pipe apart.

Applications

Use for box frames, railing corners, display cubes, scenic structures, guardrail runs, and 48.3 mm outside diameter pipe frames where three members meet.

Compatibility

Fits 48.3 mm OD, 1-1/2" Sch. 40 pipe; related sister fittings cover the alternate KUPO pipe clamp diameter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this fitting need welding?

No. It clamps with hex screws, so the structure remains bolt-on and easier to reconfigure.

When do I use this instead of an elbow?

Use the corner fitting when three pipes meet at the same point. Use an elbow when only two pipe ends need to turn.

Which pipe size does this version fit?

This version fits 48.3 mm OD, 1-1/2" Sch. 40 pipe; check the sister size if your structure uses the other KUPO pipe clamp diameter.
