Product Description

Overview

The KPC-A1212 90? Crossover is part of KUPO's A535 aluminum-magnesium alloy slip-on pipe clamp family for 48.30 mm outside diameter tube. It lets two pipes pass each other at right angles in a non-coplanar joint, using 3/8" galvanized steel recessed grub screws with reverse knurled cup points for a no-weld pipe structure that can be installed with a standard hex key.

Why It Matters

Cross-bracing and intersecting frames can require one pipe to pass another cleanly. This alloy crossover keeps that right-angle pass-over in a single polished fitting.

Key Features

  • Non-coplanar 90° crossover lets two pipes pass at right angles in one joint.
  • A535 aluminum-magnesium alloy keeps the fitting lightweight and corrosion resistant for outdoor or harsh environments.
  • 3/8" galvanized steel recessed grub screws with reverse knurled cup points hold the pipe securely.
  • Standard hex-key installation avoids welding, specialist labor, and permanent fabrication.

Additional Technical Notes

  • Set Screws: 3/8" galvanized steel recessed grub screw with reverse knurled cup point

Fits 48.30 mm (1.90") tube for Schedule 40 nominal pipe. The related KPC-A1412 version fits 42.40 mm (1.66") tube.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this part of the aluminum-magnesium clamp family?

Yes. It is an A535 aluminum-magnesium alloy slip-on fitting, not one of the cast-iron KPC pipe clamps.

Is this a tee or a pass-over fitting?

It is a pass-over fitting. Two pipes cross at right angles without becoming a simple tee branch.

Which tube size does this version fit?

This A1200-series version fits 48.30 mm outside diameter tube. The A1400-series sister version fits 42.40 mm tube.
