Overview

The KUPO MC-F 19-Pin Metallic Protective Cap protects the contact face of an unmated 19-pin connector from dust, moisture, and mechanical damage. Its CNC-machined aluminum body gives the connector a more durable cover than a basic rubber dust cap, while the stainless steel lanyard keeps the cap attached when removed.

Why It Matters

MC-F is for protecting socket contacts on the line female side, the side that can collect dirt or moisture if the connector is packed without a cover. In high-cycle touring and stage use, exposed contacts can turn into real service problems. A metal cap is a small accessory, but it protects the connector face during transport, storage, and cable handling between jobs.
