Product Description
Overview
The KUPO YS-4.0-CEE Single Phase Y-Splitter is a theatrical stage lighting twofer built to connect two lighting instruments to one dimming channel without forcing multiple conductors into one connector. Its molded construction uses a PVC injection-molding inner core for tensile strength and a rubber outer cover for impact absorbency.
Why It Matters
The heavier 4.0 mm² CEE version is for higher-current parallel applications where the cable cross-section and connector format need to match the load plan. The transparent heat-shrink sleeve over the Parallel / Series sticker keeps the wiring identification visible, which matters because parallel and series twofers behave very differently on a dimmer circuit.
Key Features
- 3 x 4.0 mm² H07RN-F rubber cable, 1 mm length
- Parallel wiring for theatrical twofer applications
- 32 A CEE form line female output connectors
- PVC injection-molding inner core with rubber molded outer cover
- Fire-retardant and oil-resistant cable with protected Parallel / Series wiring mark
Applications
YS-4.0-CEE is suited to theatrical lighting, stage dimmer circuits, fixture pairing, rental-house cable kits, and controlled twofer use where two instruments need to be connected from one channel with the correct wiring method.
Compatibility
Use YS-4.0-CEE only with lighting instruments, connectors, dimmer channels, and load plans appropriate for parallel wiring and 3 x 4.0 mm² cable. Check circuit behavior before use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is YS-4.0-CEE parallel or series wired?
YS-4.0-CEE is parallel wired.
Why is the wiring label important?
Parallel and series twofers change circuit behavior, so the visible label helps crews avoid using the wrong splitter on a dimmer channel.
What connector style is on this version?
32 A CEE form line female output connectors
